RESEARCH INTO LOW-IMPACT MATERIALS
Research and development focuses on flexible materials and their possible combinations, as well as inks and solvents used in printing.
REDUCTION OF PRODUCTION WASTE AND PARTIAL REUSE OF IT
In line with current regulations, FM Plastic has a state-of-the-art zero-emission regenerative thermal oxidizer, capable of completely purifying the air from the solvents used in printing. Furthermore, thanks to the presence of a dedicated distiller, those same solvents are, in turn, partially recovered and reused.
REUSE OF ENERGY SOURCES
Once a temperature of 800°C is reached, the air purification plant is not only self-powered by self-combustion, but the heat produced is used as a heating source for the entire production plant, thus ensuring significant energy savings.
