POPLAST GOUP is a major national player in flexographic and rotogravure printing as well as in laminating and slitting processes for packaging designed for food and no-food industries.

With an in-house R&D department focused on developing new increasingly sustainable solutions, and a prompt and efficient customer service, we are able to supply from the most traditional products to the innovative mono-materials required by the Circular Economy.

The POPLAST GROUP operates with two production facilities – in Castel San Giovanni (Piacenza) and Lamporecchio (PT) – to offer the best technology and service for flexible packaging printing for any product sector, worldwide.

Organisation, management and control model

RESEARCH INTO LOW-IMPACT MATERIALS

Research and development focuses on flexible materials and their possible combinations, as well as inks and solvents used in printing.

REDUCTION OF PRODUCTION WASTE AND PARTIAL REUSE OF IT

In compliance with current regulations, the Lamporecchio facility is equipped with a regenerative thermal oxidizer, capable of completely purifying the air from the solvents used in printing. Furthermore, thanks to the presence of a dedicated distiller, those same solvents are, in turn, partially recovered and reused.

REUSE OF ENERGY SOURCES

Once a temperature of 800°C is reached, the air purification plant is not only self-powered by self-combustion, but the heat produced is used as a heating source for the entire production plant, thus ensuring significant energy savings.
