Laminating

LAMINATING FLEXIBLE PACKAGING ACCORDING TO POPLAST

Lamination of flexible packaging is one of the most important phases of the whole production chain.

It is the phase when different materials are glued together to obtain two, three or multi-layer film to make wraps featuring high-barrier or high-resistance properties.

Aluminium flexible packaging, thanks to thin lamination, is light and robust and complies with norms and regulations aimed at ensuring product and end-consumer safety.

Coupling control in laminating flexible packaging

Each coupling step is checked with methodical and scrupulous controls, from solvent retention through Gas chromatograph, to grammage of adhesive applied, up to traction and weldability tests.

Maximum flexibility in laminating

To meet customer requirements, it should be noted that  one of the Solvent-based laminating machines can be converted into a Solvent Less machine in order to better handle work peaks.

One of the Solvent Less laminating machines is also equipped with laser die-cutting, which enables us to make paper-plastic film laminates with die-cut window.
