Italian Legislative Decree 24/2023 “Implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law and on provisions concerning the protection of persons who report breaches of national regulatory provisions” sets forth new rules on the protection of persons who report breaches of regulatory provisions that harm the public interest or the integrity of the public administration or private body, of which they have become aware in a work context. These new provisions take effect on 15 July 2023.
In order to comply with Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and (It.) Legislative Decree of 10 March 2023, no. 24, Poplast S.r.l. and FM Plastic S.r.l. have set up a special channel through which to report possible unlawful acts by employees, collaborators, managers and directors.
