INTERPACK, one of the most important packaging exhibitions in the world, ended in D\u00fcsseldorf on May, the 13rd.<\/p>\n
As always, Interpack is a fundamental appointment for the professionals of the sector and today, a few weeks after the closing of its gates, we would like to make some reflections.<\/p>\n

The sustainable side of packaging technology is our focus. What has to be said is that this topic was the whole focus of the Fair.
As a result, and we are happy to hear and share it, there is no longer a concept of technology that can be independent of its environmental impact, however convenient and performing, and this is both in the mentality of producers and that of buyers who must now really be able to distinguish what is green from what only promises to be.<\/p>\n
In particular, as Poplast Group, we have always closely followed the professional proposals of the Fair but this year, for the first time, we wanted to be an active part of it, with a stand and a range of products and solutions that have attracted the attention of many.<\/p>\n
Our research in the field of flexible, sustainable packaging has been going on for years and also with excellent results and great successes. We are a concrete company, which demonstrates, with facts, all that promises.
That\u2019s why we had no doubts to say \u201cyes\u201d, in 2023, to Interpack.
Who came to visit us at the Fair, knows that what we showed and proposed are tested solutions, already applied by many packaging companies and chosen by multinational food companies, and above all found certifications, data, real evidence of the actual compliance of our product to its declarations.<\/p>\n
For years our research has taken the direction of the use of single-material solutions for flexible packaging.
We are convinced that this is the way to obtain, with today\u2019s recycling technology, a truly green product.
Market trends are proving that we are right and the CYCLOS certifications that accompany all our solutions testify to their effectiveness.<\/p>\n
The new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, proposed by the European Commission, is worrying our sector, particularly for the speed it requires adaptation to new regulations.
Although it is evident that some points of the PPWR need a review, many others confirm the direction that our research and production of recyclable packaging has already undertaken for some time.<\/p>\n
Continuing to work well and following this direction, we think that our entire supply chain will be able to react and adapt in time to the new rules.<\/p>\n
